What documents do I need to rent a car abroad as a Nigerian?
You typically need your valid Nigerian driver's licence, an International Driving Permit (IDP) for most countries, your passport, and a credit card in the main driver's name for the security deposit. We advise on the exact requirements for your destination before you book.
Can I cancel or change my car rental booking?
Most of the rates we book include free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup. Changes to dates or car class are usually possible too — just message us on WhatsApp and we'll handle it with the rental company.
Is insurance included in the rental price?
Basic cover (collision damage waiver and theft protection) is usually included, but excess amounts vary. We recommend adding full-cover or excess-refund protection and will quote it upfront so there are no surprises at the desk.
Can someone else drive the rental car too?
Yes — additional drivers can be added to most bookings, sometimes for a small daily fee. Every driver must be present at pickup with their licence and meet the rental company's age requirements.
