How long does a UK visitor visa from Nigeria take?
Standard processing is around 3 weeks from your biometrics appointment in Lagos or Abuja, with priority services available at extra cost from the visa application centre.
What documents does UKVI expect from a Nigerian applicant?
Passport, completed online application, biometrics appointment confirmation, 6 months of stamped bank statements, employment or business documents, accommodation and flight itinerary, and evidence of ties to Nigeria.
Do you guarantee the visa?
No. No agent can. UKVI alone approves or refuses a visa. What we do is make sure your file is complete, consistent and properly evidenced before you submit it.
Should I book the flight before the visa?
You need a flight reservation, not a paid ticket. We issue a confirmed itinerary for the application and only issue the ticket after the decision.
Will I get a visa sticker in my passport?
Not any more in most cases. The UK now issues a digital eVisa linked to your passport, so create your UKVI account and confirm the eVisa shows correctly before you travel. Visa fees also increased on 8 April 2026.
